Privacy Policy
HmmTrivia ("the app") is developed and published independently. This policy explains what data is collected when you use the app and why.
Information we do not collect
HmmTrivia has no account system. We never ask for your name, email address, or any other personal identifier, and the app is fully playable offline.
Information stored only on your device
Your coin balance, level and streak progress, theme preference, and notification setting are stored locally on your device (via standard iOS and Android local-storage APIs). This data is not transmitted to us and is deleted if you uninstall the app.
Analytics and crash reporting
We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (Google) to understand feature usage and diagnose crashes. This may include app interaction events, device model, OS version, app version, and a device identifier assigned by the analytics/crash-reporting SDK. We use this solely to improve the app's stability and content — it is not linked to your identity.
Advertising
Rewarded and interstitial ads are served through Google AdMob. AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, or the Android advertising ID) and other technical data to serve and measure ads, and to limit how often the same ad is shown. We do not control how Google's ad network processes this data beyond configuring the ad placements themselves; see Google's Privacy Policy for details. You can reset or limit your device's advertising identifier at any time in your device's system settings (iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking; Android: Settings → Google → Ads).
Purchases
The app offers one in-app purchase, Remove Ads. Payment is processed entirely by the Apple App Store (or Google Play, where available) — we never see or store your payment details, only a confirmation that the purchase was made.
Content delivery
The app periodically checks a static content server we operate for updated trivia question packs. These requests do not include any personal information — only a version check.
Children's privacy
HmmTrivia is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
